State Bar Ethics Committee issues 2 opinions

The State Bar of Nevada Standing Committee on Ethics and Professional Responsibility has made available two of its formal opinions.

Formal Opinion No. 39 concerns lateral movement of a lawyer in private practice and addresses several issues.

Formal Opinion No. 40 addresses whether an attorney admitted to practice in another state but not in Nevada violates SCR 42 and/or RPC 5.5 by representing claiminants in proceedings before the Social Security Administated conducted within the State of Nevada.
