Spring Creek Nevada

On Friday, May 11th, the Nevada Supreme Court will hold oral argument in Spring Creek, Nevada. Those from outside the area who may wish to attend may want to know a few things about Spring Creek, such as how big is it and where the hell is it located.

Wikipedia provides a few answers:

"Spring Creek is located in a large valley between the Elko Mountains to the northwest and the Ruby Mountains to the southeast. To the southwest is Huntington Valley and the South Fork of the Humboldt River, while to the north is the main branch of the Humboldt. The community of Elko is approximately 6 miles (10 km) to the northwest, while Lamoille is just to the east." It has a total area of 58.7 square miles and a population of 10,548.

Wikipedia provides no answers as to why the Nevada Supreme Court selected Spring Creek at a situs for oral argument. Any guesses?
